How did you get started in drag racing and how long have you been racing?
My dad has raced my whole life. We were born and raised at the track. I bugged him for years for a car and finally in 2011, he gave in.
In a predominantly male sport are you treated fairly / equally by your fellow male racers?
Yes, I have never had any problems being treated unfairly.
What are the top 3 things that you enjoy the most about drag racing?
1. My car - Building it with my dad
2. The adrenaline rush going down the track
3. The racing family. Everyone is here to help each other out
Recently woman have been dominating the national drag racing circuit. What do you think is the reason for this?
They are lighter on their feet and make better reaction times.
Who is your favorite female racer and why?
Erica Enders. She is a real racer that is dead consistent. She isn't cocky at all and just kills it out there.
Is there anyone that you would like to thank for helping you get started into drag racing?
Yes, a huge thanks to my family and my boyfriend. My dad has been my idol growing up and has been my biggest help and supporter. My boyfriend never misses a race and is always a huge help to me and my family. A special thanks to Jason Leindecker for building my motor.
