We used their Vulcan Fire sleeve in our Pro Street Camaro "Project Big Red." All of our front to rear wiring is protected by this amazing product as are all of our fuel lines. Be sure to keep an eye out on this project when we officially reveal it in early summer. Every car that comes into our Custom Shop leaves with one of their products. We protect all of our electrical work with a fire sleeve, but at an absolute minimum do yourself a favor and put your starter wires in one of these and protect them from the headers. - JT
VULCAN HEAT BRAID FLEXIBLE WOVEN WIRE LOOM
Vulcan Heat Braid, flexible woven wire loom, is a braided material with a lateral split that allows it to open up to fit over a wiring harness or preassembled line. Unlike convoluted rigid tubing the Vulcan Heat Braid will bend into a tight radius without distortion or splitting open. Protect your wiring and clean up the looks of your wiring.

Vulcan Black Fire Sleeve Fire Braid Flame Shield 5/8 X 10ft 10AN Vulcan Firesleeve Vulcan Firesleeve hose flame shield can prevent or delay hose lines from burning from direct flame. Vulcan Firesleeve is constructed of a uniform single layer of braided fiberglass tubing impregnated with flame resistant silicone rubber. Vulcan knitted high bulk glass fiber sleeve can withstand repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass up to 3000°F (1650°C). Vulcan Fire Sleeves protects cable, hoses, tubing and wires from heat, flame or abrasion. High temperature silicone outer jackets and woven fiberglass braided tubing inner core. Vulcan Fire Sleeves allow continuous operating temperatures from -65 up to 500 degrees F and short term exposure up to 2,000 degrees. The silicone coated fiberglass braids keep headers from burning plug wires and battery cables. They insulate fuel and oil lines and will not burn. Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels, insulates against energy loss in piping and hosing; and allows "bundling" of wires, hoses, and cables.
